Andrew Patton is President and CEO of Patton House Entertainment, LLC and General Manager/Vice President of Inpop Records. In May of 2010, he accepted the position of GM/VP and also expanded the services and staff of Patton House Entertainment. Within a short period of time, Andrew led the marketing team that helped give Newsboys a nine-week #1 single “Born Again” and the biggest first-week sales in Newsboys’ history according to Sound Scan. As the head of Inpop, he also works with Jaci Velasquez, Salvador, Jimmy Needham, Mat Kearney, Trisha Brock, and The Advice.
Andrew’s experience with numerous promotion and marketing campaigns, including the launch of Midas Records Christian and the national radio promotion behind the Dove-Nominated Time-Life “Songs 4 Worship: Country” project, allowed him to easily step into the role of General Manager at Inpop Records. As Vice President of National Promotions at Provident Label Group, he led the team that broke Casting Crowns, who have gone on to sell over 5 million records. Previously, Andrew was Director of National Promotions at Word Records and took Randy Travis' single “Three Wooden Crosses” to the top of every country radio chart earning Travis top honors at the 2003 CMA Music Awards. Patton House Entertainment also led the radio team to launch the country music career of Beverley Mitchell from TV’s longest running family drama, 7th Heaven. His experience and dedication to his work earned him the 2005 Radio and Record’s Christian Promotion Executive of the Year Award.
In 2005, Andrew saw a need for a new style of artist management within the music industry. His initial goal was to structure a company that provided effective Artist Development, while creating substantial career opportunities and growth. He discovered Rush Of Fools in September 2006 while judging a band competition for unsigned artists. Andrew developed Rush Of Fools into the second best-selling new artist for 2007 with the #1 Christian Adult Contemporary Radio song “Undo.” In 2008, Rush Of Fools was nominated for four Gospel Music Association Doves Awards including New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.
Since then, Patton House Entertainment has partnered with many Christian artists. Patton House also holds Sessions Conferences, which are designed to answer questions that new artists have about getting into the business. In 2010, Andrew expanded the services that Patton House Entertainment offers to the artist. Patton House National Promotions has promoted the Number One Singles of “Born Again” from the Newsboys and “Lead Me” from Sanctus Real. They also introduced J.J. Heller, NewWorldSon, and Dave Barnes to AC radio. Patton House Entertainment also offers a full service Publishing division, which helps artists manage their song catalogues. The Patton House Management roster currently includes Rush Of Fools, Jimmy Needham, Echoing Angels, Chase Callahan, Rhett Walker, and Joy Patton.
Andrew resides just outside Nashville, Tennessee, and has been married for 14 years to his beautiful wife Joy and has 4 wonderful children: Connor, Kyle, Hope Renee, and Faith. |
