Thursday, Nov 19th, 2009
Nashville, TN (November 19, 2009) ---- Andrew Patton, President and CEO of Patton House Entertainment, is happy to announce the addition of industry veteran, Matt Ingle, to the company. Ingle has been named Director of National Promotions for the new division of Radio Promotions and Marketing. Ingle will begin his duties immediately and may be reached at 615-283-8048 or at matt@pattonhouseentertainment.com.
“Given the changing face of the music industry today, I felt it was the right time for our company to take a seasoned approach to the marketplace,” explains Patton. “With Matt's experience and amazing connections with Christian radio programmers, along with my two-decade longevity in the music community, we will bring a fresh, renewed approach to promotions. I am confident that Matt’s engaging personality will continue to build on those relationships with radio and provide proven results to our clients.”
Ingle graduated from Bethel College in South Bend, Indiana in 2003 with a B. A. degree in Communication, Journalism and English Education. He was a freelance journalist for four years before being named as National Promotions Manager at Provident Music Group. While at Provident, Ingle was responsible for day-to-day promotions of Jars of Clay, Brandon Heath, RED, Leeland, Matt Maher, and Nevertheless. He also worked with artists such as Casting Crowns, Third Day, Tenth Avenue North, and Fireflight, solidifying his relationships with Christian radio programmers. Mike Prendergast, Program Director, KLTY/Dallas – “I’ve always enjoyed my interaction with Matt, both on the phone and in person, and respect his judgment on new music.” Jason Sharp, Program Director, KTIS/Minneapolis – “I have very much enjoyed working with Matt over the years. He’s a good guy and seems to always have KTIS’ interests in mind. I appreciate that.”
"My experience at PLG was an invaluable gift. Serving under such excellent leadership and playing a role on the most measurably-successful marketing team in the Christian music industry was huge preparation for this new journey with Patton House,” says Ingle. “Andrew and I share the vision to serve as a resource for signed and indie artists that are seeking to build their brand to a larger audience creatively and effectively. Our goal is to build strategic artist-radio relationships that benefit both parties mutually at the consumer level."
Patton has a 20-year illustrious career in the Christian music industry and has become one of its most respected leaders. Patton has been Director of National Promotions at Word Records and Vice President of National Promotions at Provident Label Group. During his career as a radio promotion executive, Patton and his teams delivered an incredible fifty #1 radio singles. The chart-topping songs include Randy Travis’ multi-chart, mega- hit, “Three Wooden Crosses,” and six Point of Grace hits that broke the record for the most consecutive #1 songs from any act in all genres of music. This led to Patton being named Radio and Records’ Christian Promotion Executive of the Year in 2005.
It was during that same year when Patton branched out and formed his management company, Patton House Entertainment. He saw a void for a new style of artist management that supported Artist Development while providing growth at radio, retail and with touring opportunities. This new management approach paid off, when in 2006 Patton groomed the then unknown band, Rush Of Fools, into becoming the second best- selling new act of 2007. Patton House Entertainment is bringing that same expertise to the other acts on its roster; Jimmy Needham, Echoing Angels and Joy Lippard. At the same time, Patton House Entertainment is also offering new services with, The Sessions Conferences, a one-day education seminar. The Sessions Conference offers on-site guidance on how to develop a music career, while the follow-up Sessions One-On-One provides additional monthly support for independent artists ready to move ahead with their regional or national brands. The Sessions Conferences are held around the country and feature high-profile music executives as speakers. There are already three conferences scheduled for January 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri, Springfield, Illinois and Mount Vernon, Illinois. |
